Care Instructions

1. Hand Washing
- Use Cold Water: Always wash silk items in cold water to prevent color fading and fiber damage.
- Mild Detergent: Use a gentle, pH-neutral, or silk-specific detergent to avoid damaging the delicate silk fibers.
- Gentle Agitation: Gently agitate the water by swirling it to clean the silk. Avoid wringing or rubbing, as this can cause damage.
- Quick Wash: Wash silk items quickly to minimize exposure to water.
- Rinse Thoroughly: Ensure that all detergent is thoroughly rinsed out of the silk.

2. Machine Washing
- Use Delicate Cycle: Use a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water.
- Place in a Mesh Bag: Put silk items in a mesh laundry bag to prevent them from getting tangled or damaged by other items in the load.
- Mild Detergent: Use a gentle detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics.

3. Drying
- Air Dry: The best way to dry silk is to air dry it. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause fading.
- Avoid Hanging: Don't hang silk items by the shoulders, as this can stretch the fabric. Instead, lay them flat on a clean, dry towel.

4. Ironing
- Low Heat: If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting or the silk setting on your iron. Always iron on the reverse side or place a cloth between the iron and the silk.
- Steam: Using a steamer is a gentler option to remove wrinkles from silk.

5. Storage
- Clean Before Storage: Make sure silk items are clean before storing them to prevent stains from setting in.
- Avoid Sunlight: Store silk items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
- Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep silk items away from sharp objects that could snag or tear the delicate fabric.

6. Cleaning Product
Use a Silk-Friendly Detergent: When washing silk sheets or pillowcases, use a mild, soft detergent to maintain their softness.
